Top Page & How It Works
(1) When you float your mouse over one of the pictures you can see a more detailed view of it's respective opinion or review, it's contents, and it's current vote percent status, ie (How many users have voted agree as opposed to disagree and informative as opposed to uninformative respectively).
(2) To see more opinions and/or reviews in this fashion you can click on the arrow to the right of the screen as shown below.
Main Menu
The main menu is split into 6 sections at the top right of your screen.
Irrespective of your current screen the main menu can be both seen and
accessed.
(1) The large red button is used when you would like to post a new opinion or
review.
(2) The button labeled number two is used for loggin in and logging out.
After having created an account, simply click here to log in.
(3) The view button is used when you would like to customize your view.
Customizing your view is easy and fast. Here you can select what types of
posts you would like to see on the top page, what order and even language you
would like them displayed in. When you're finished making your selections,
make sure to click the "Set" button to save your changes!
(4) Help! Apparently, you've already found that one on your own! All the
details of our site are contained in the help section. Click help to see a complete list of it's contents.
(5) Upon clicking the category button, a drop-down style menu will appear
with a list of all the categories on our site. Choose the category of your
choice to see if there are any opinions or reviews in that respective
category.
(6) Language settings. Currently, this site is only available in English and
Japanese. We hope to expand on these languages in the near future. Can you
speak multiple languages? Maybe you can help us translate the site into other
languages!? Click here and let us know which languages
you are able to translate the site into and we'll contact you as soon as
possible.
(7) Number seven is a display of your user name and a link to your profile
page. Use this link to easily access your personal data, homepage settings,
design, and look, etc.
(8) This is the search function for WhatPercent. Type anything into it and
see what you get! Ya, never know!
(9) These two small buttons switch your view from opinion/review picture mode
to user avatar view mode. Opinion/review picture mode will display the
pictures featured in those particular opinions or reviews. The avatar picture
mode will display the avatar of the user that posted those respective opinions
and reviews.
Registration
Registering with WhatPercent only takes a minute and is as painless as we
could make it. Simply click on the "Sign Up" tab at the top right of the
screen, choose an avatar or wait until you log in to upload your own image,
then fill out the form and you're done! Just check your mail and be sure to
click on the activation link! If for some reason you don't get the activation
mail, it may have been caught in one of your mail servers spam filters. If
you think this could be the case, please check your spam folder if you have
one. Alternatively, you could use a different mail address. However, if you
really want to use that particular address you can mail us with your id and
we'll activate it on our side.
(1) The data you give us will remain private. We do not distribute, resale,
or share your information with anyone. Additionally, we allow users to delete
their profiles. (Unlike many other sites) you don't need to worry about never being able to remove your identity. For more information on removing your account please check out the user preferences section.
