Yes the Republicans and the Democrats have used the nuclear option for various procedures to pass budget bills and tax cuts or tax hikes. ..but to use it to pass a bill that fundamentaly changes every person in America's health care... especially when the polls indicate Americans are not in favor of this change......is inviting a nuclear change in the House and the Senate. The sleeping  giant is awake...never in my lifetime has the American people been so involved in what Congress is doing. The people have educated theirselves to the issue and are speaking out of knowledge and not emotion and hype. So, beware Congressmen and Senators come election time if you vote yes when and if  they bring this up on reconciliation (the nuclear option). Just think for a minute....why do they call it the nuclear option...huh? I think you can make a good guess!!

I don't really care what they do at this point, they're all in the pockets of the health industry anyway. Fact of the matter is, even if Congress pushes this one through, it wouldn't affect you or me for so long, by the time the actual bills changes went into effect, they'd already be planning changes.
France has better health care than any country in the world and they have nationalized health care. Until Americans pull their heads out of the sand and see that nationalized health care is the best way for any country to best serve the health of it's nation, America will remain at the bottom of the International health standards charts where it has resided nearly my entire life.

Without using the nuclear option nothing will ever get passed. The Republicans will simply block anything this president tries to do no matter how many concessions he is willing to make.

With health care the way it is, people will continue to die on a daily basis due to the lack of medical care they could be receiving if Republicans and Democrats would simply agree to disagree on some points and come to an agreement that SOMETHING needs to be done NOW!

Completely disagree. The so called, "nuclear" option you speak of is how your party passed nearly everything they've ever passed! This includes the RIDICULOUS tax cuts for the rich by Bush and nearly all the smaller bills related to health care.
If the Dems are going to get anything done at all, they must use their vote. If that means the nuclear option so be it. They were elected to get shit done, and if they wait for a bunch of Rethuglicans that are just trying to make sure Obama gets nothing done, nothing will be done.
You really should think about it. If you lose your health care, you may be next! You should be behind the Dems on this one if you know what's best for America.
