From every science journal I've read, the only real difference between H1N1 and other strains of influenza, is that it spreads a little easier. Other than that, there is not much difference. Mortality rates are about the same, and even the rate of it spreading is only a fraction more than past strains. So what is all the fuss about? Well the media has drummed up the subject so much at this point that everyone is freaking out and thinks they'll die from it I guess.
I'm not saying we should take some precautions, but it's likely overboard at this point as everyone seems to be in a panic to get immunized. Here's an idea, stop eating junk food, get regular exercise, and wash your hands! That's the best solution.

The media always has the mass public by the tail. It's not nearly as dangerous as the medical companies would have us think. Nonetheless you have Fox News talking about Obama as if he'd missed a massive hurricane that wiped out half the lower country.

It's pretty dangerous or more dangerous than other influenza viruses if you're a child or pregnant woman. I'd agree, can't really blame Barack for much on this one, although I'm sure Fox will do it's best to do just that.

From a scientific standpoint this scramble for the H1N1 vaccine seems pretty stupid to me!
