I've noticed when people buy a book, magazine, food item, or just about anything, the large majority take from the bottom of the stack. I can think of a few reasons, mostly obvious, someone might want to do this. I'm just curious if all of you do and why? What are your reasons?
And if everyone buys from the bottom, are not some of the original reasons for doing so thereby moot?

I always buy from the bottom. The top stuff is nasty, might have germs like H1N1 or something. When it comes to food the dates are usually better on the stuff at the bottom or in the back etc.
Never understood people that just grab from the top, but my father always does!
