The latest roar over Susan Boyle and her performance on Britain's Got Talent show was totally a gimmick! The cameras pan around to get all the expressions of disgust, the idiots on the sidelines with fake looks of surprise, and the judges fake reactions lead me to believe this.
That's not to say I don't agree with the premise that we must not judge a book by it's cover, but come on. This wasn't about moral lessons, this was business as usual, and the audience and general public bought into it hook, line, and sinker!

No doubt!

Just wait until the television company get's her, her first contract!

She won't see a dime from her first record if they have any say on the matter!

Yah, those people are all pre-vetted - so there is no way the judges didn't know what to expect.

The audience may have been genuinely surprised. maybe.

They are in business to boost ratings, that's what they do. It's a shame when we have become so cynical of people's motives we can't look beyond and see the blessing the woman is to so many ..over 27 million views...I'm sure the programs motives were to bring self-serving but that doesn't deny the talent and the sweetness she possesses.

Do we really need luxury cruise ships that can hold 7,300 people?
