A recent study by Lancet Oncology Medical Journal showed that tanning beds and ultraviolet radiation are the leading causes of skin cancer as well as ocular melanoma or cancer of the eyes. The study shows that the risks are so great with tanning beds, that they rank as risky as even some chemical weapons of the past such as mustard gas.
If you think that rights are one thing, but allowing people (especially in their teens) to darken their skin, possibly at the risk destroying their bodies and possibly even their life, should be illegal, vote "Agree".
If you feel that lot's of things in life are risky but we can't go around outlawing everything that may cause illness or even death in the end, vote "Disagree".
