Eating competitions shouldn't be given attention by the media.

Eating is not a sport! Everyone eats. Americans eat too much and many don't have enough to eat. So WTF is a eating competition? A competition where people try to consume as much crap in a short amount of time as possible? Disgusting and truly symbolic of America's consumption of the worlds resources, that is if hot dogs count as a resource. Either way I can't believe that I see the results of such garbage on networks that claim they are the leaders in news like CNN or MSNBC. This is not news, this is white trash at it's ultimate worst, so leave it out of my news!!!
