I keep hearing news casters say that Beckham will bring more popularity to the sport of soccer in America. This absolute nonsense! Nobody even knows who the guy is, much less care about a pansy sport like soccer!

I have to disagree. I think he has elevated the game the world over - and America is waking up. He's always in the news - and he's a charming guy.
